About the piece
Night Song was originally written as a little piano piece for my son, when he was still in utero. Adapting it later for voices, I found that the words of the lovely ‘Night Song’ by John Fletcher fit perfectly. It should be sung humbly and tenderly – but straight: no need to emote, the music will do the work.
