VOCES8 is turning TWENTY this season!

Join VOCES8 for its official 20th anniversary concert on 8 June 2025, celebrating two decades of inspiring music-making with its Barbican debut. We will be joined on stage by the VOCES8 Scholars, former members of the ensemble and special guests, the BBC Singers. This special event will also feature a lunchtime performance from APOLLO5, celebrating its 15th anniversary, and a community Big Sing session led by Paul Smith.

Grammy-nominated ensemble VOCES8 is pleased to announce the release of its new album, 'Nightfall', on Decca Classics on 27 September. This album introduces a collection of reflective and transcendent music inspired by the night. It features a mix of choral classics and contemporary arrangements, including new choral versions of popular works by Ludovico Einaudi, Sigur Rós, Koji Kondo, and Max Richter. The first single from the album, 'Fljótavik' is out now and available to listen to on your favourite streaming platform.

This 14th festival feast of eleven concerts features captivating international artists such as US supergroup Chanticleer, the Swedish barbershop showmen of Ringmasters as well as the much-loved Ex Cathedra, through to emerging stars such as newly formed women’s vocal ensemble Lyyra. Including repertoire from Monteverdi’s magnificent Vespers of 1610 to films showcasing the dramatic natural landscapes of the Faroe Islands which provide the backdrop for Mars Smith’s cinematic journey Faroe Islands: Echoes on the Wind.
